Chris Gray

 Originally from Lockerbie, a Scottish town of 5000 inhabitants, located in the southwest of Scotland, (District of Dumfries and Galloway), Chris Gray studied traditional music from an early age. Over the years he has developed a special interest in the Highland Bagpipe (The Great Highland Bagpipe, or pìob-mhòr in Scottish Gaelic), as well as flutes and piano. His sensitivity is affirmed in this first album and today Chris Gray is more than a musician! He is a composer, painter and sculptor of contemporary folk music. His different experiences allow him to push back the boundaries of traditional Scottish music, and he offers us a musical style open to the world with jazz, pop, but also classical music.
