Trio of musicians passionate about the musical heritage of their region Béarn, with guitar, bass, ukulele (Jean Lagueyte), diatonic accordion, string tambourine, guitar (Jean-luc Mongaugé), drums, percussion (Sylvain Latry) and all three sing with the heart and a sunny energy. If they claim their regional and cultural identity with their name "Esta - Etre", these three musicians are ambassadors of their culture via the stage and this DVD recorded in February 2017 "Gare de Cauterets" which is an old wooden station in the High Pyrenees (Occitanie). This merry team of friends does not let themselves be trapped in "regionalist" music, they affirm their attachment to the world of today and listen to sounds from elsewhere: Latin America, rock and roll energy, while assuming their passion for the polyphonies of Gascony. This DVD is faithful to their concerts, their music is imbued with the rhythms of the Mediterranean and brings us human warmth thanks to an artistic project that must not be missed.
