NORTHERN RESONANCE

The young Swedish trio Northern Resonance, founded in 2017 by violinist Anna Ekborg, is a wonderful discovery. She has surrounded herself with musician friends: violinist Jerker Hans-Ers and nyckelharpa player Petrus Dillner. These three talented musicians have made the artistic and technical choice to work on the "resonance" of their strings! After many weeks of playing and listening to each other they have created a music with traditional inspiration, with influences in classical music. The repertoire is mainly based on their own compositions with refined, sensual and soulful arrangements. Their extensive musical background has allowed them to create personal works that come from the socio-cultural background of each musician, giving the trio a unique, unusual and never boring sound. This first album was nominated for a Swedish Grammy Award.
