Spöket I Köket

From the first title I asked myself! because the atmosphere is very Quebec! and looking closer, I discover that this album www.gofolk.dk is composed of musicians, Swedish, Danish and Belgian around a repertoire mixing Quebec, and Scandinavian roots. "Phantom in the kitchen" is the name of this group which dust and revisits the trad music, through musical pieces by Philippe Bruneau, Jos Bouchard, traditional Swedish music, pieces by the Finnish violinist Tellu Turkka, or Evald Thomsen from Denmark . The ensemble is warm, dynamic and the fusion of Nordic music with that of North America brings a new atmosphere to these repertoires. Imagine ten musicians from different backgrounds who offer us a modern trad music in atmospheres of gypsy music, jazz, folk-rock and arranged in a subtle, festive way! An album not to be missed
