Meet Strings

Strings rubbed with sensuality!
Still as qualitative and unusual as the Danish label Go 'Danish Folk Music, and with the trio Vesselil, the Danish musicians demonstrate once again that music is alive in Scandinavia. I am always amazed at the discovery of the productions of this region of the world, to see that the musicians are not only talented but that they knew to impregnate their cultural roots and that they are not only virtuosos !! They let their hearts and souls speak through music. This trio is a remarkable example, with their two violins and cello these three musicians: Clara Tesch, Elisabeth Dichmann, and Maja Aarøe Freese offer us an album that sounds chamber music, contemporary music, traditional music to dance and languid songs. They know how to vibrate the strings of their instruments with sensuality, emotion and energy. Their repertoire is based on tunes and traditional songs from Denmark, Sweden and Belgium, which they happily merge with personal compositions totally imbued with their musical heritage. They called the group "Vesselil" an old Danish song that tells the story of a woman who refuses to sell her dreams and passions for money! To be meditated in 2019 for all those who make creation their bread of life. The sound of the three instruments is remarkable for its warmth and the presence of these strings that meet and cross for our greatest pleasure.
