This is a prolific band, as less than a year after their previous album, they are back with a new release. Sheridan Rúitin, a band formed in a garage in the suburbs of New York in the spring of 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic, is back with Freakshow.

Doimnic Mac Ghiolla Bhríde was born and raised in Donegal, in the Gaeltacht of Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore in English). He is a renowned singer, accordionist, pianist and uilleann piper who has won numerous awards, including the Corn Uí Riada in 2009, the highest distinction in the field of sean-nós, a type of lament similar to the Breton gwerz.
He is also a renowned composer and singer who has devoted most of his life to promoting Gaelic song.

Originally from Belmullet in County Mayo (north-west Ireland), David Munnelly is an accordionist who is deeply involved in traditional music and, it must be said, quite prolific in terms of albums, which I have presented to you on several occasions.
